NOW MY QUESTION IS THAT ....AFTER DOING SO MUCH MUDSHILLING OVER EACH OTHER BY USING Bharti India web site http://bharti-india.com, the server is down finally. Now who will restore the site? WHY BHARTI SHOULD NOT PROSICUTE THESE HACKERS UNDER CYBER LAW AND CLUTCH THEM? THE PUNISHMENT COULD BE TEN YERAS IMPRISONMENT OR COMPENSATION TO THE COMPANY AGAINST WHAT EVER LOSSES OCCURED TO PARTY.
TODAY BHARTI AND CYBER CRIME BRANCH MAY DECIDE TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE HACKERS, DEFINITELY SOME OF THEM CAN GO BEHIND BAR OR FACE LEGAL CHARGES. ON WEDNESDAY WWW.NBCVOICE.COM WEB SITE WAS REDIRECTED TO SOME OTHER WEBSITE, THE WEBSITE OWNER UNDER TREMENDOUS TRUST GAVE ADMIN ACCESS TO ONE OF THE HACKER IN GOOD FAITH, WHY THE OWNER SHOULD NOT CHALLENGE THIS UNDER JUDICIAL PROVISIONS?
A simple question to all my friend Hackers , Suppose if a hacker Hack a site and deletes the index page or some other files from that server permanently, still someone can restore that site back to the same normal condition ?? This is not at all possible. If the INDEX file is missing from the server, how the 2nd hacker can restore it ?? This is very tricky question. Why always the 1st hacker keeps the INDEX page after hacking ?? Simply delete the INDEX page and it is impossible to recover the site to its original condition. Only the site ADMIN can restore, only if he has the backup of the data.
Hacker, who Hack Site need to keep backup of original files.
Server Administrator has to take server backup on daily basis.
2nd hacker, who doesn’t have any backup, even doesn’t know that which was the original file, can he restore the site? It is not at all possible.
Who will take the pride to restore http://bharti-india.com?
Obviously the fact is that unless and until one won’t have any backup of original files cannot restore the files back to the server, which had been deleted by the 1st hacker during defacement. Here is what I realised is what the Hackers are exactly doing to seek publicity. They are showing themselves as the white hat hackers, by giving us wrong website restoring cases.
Let me explain you with an action replay:
A few days ago a group of Hackers hacked a website http://bharti-india.com/ which having IIS 6.0 server. It’s easy to hack such weak servers, which is not patched and secured. These hackers might have taken the backup of all sites and then defaced it. They use defacement page of other country or hacker groups or an individual to keep their signature on defaced page. Then they display the link in their community or on social networking group, and inform them, that http://bharti-india.com/ is hacked by XYZ GROUP.... To impress foolish the News Editor like me or readers like you, they offer to restore the site again in original state.
The method what they use is, hacker takes the backup in advances and deface the pages. He uploads the files back to the server and impresses everyone with his great stupid tricks. Next day in newspapers there comes big news about those hackers and they get fame and publicity. Hacking vulnerable sites and servers is not hacking. The hackers who do defacements to show-off their skills and talent are doing fraud with nation. They hack site with names of other hacker groups and then to get good wills, they cheat with news publications and site also the owners. Every Professional knows that only Server admin, site owner or the real hacker of site can restore the site back in same conditions. It’s impossible for a 2nd hacker that he can give all original files back to server.
On Wednesday Karachi police and FIA arrested four hackers for hacking their judicial sites. If Pakistan can be strict on fallowing laws why India shouldn’t be? Read soon about combing operation by Indian police to nab hackers....
