Then install it do not open it
If opened Closed it :P

Open patch and click on patch

Now open Acunetix you will be asked for some details

    With the Patch file Trojan.Gen.2 is being downloaded. So when we extract it, only readme.txt is present keygen.exe is being deleted automatically.When tried to run it by opening Rar file, results an error.

      sorry to say it is not working for me..:(

      license is activated but when running the WVS it says this cannot be run coz Prec.dll file is missing!!

      any idea how to recover it and make it work??

      That's strange. Do you mean pcre.dll? Maybe you have a bad installation, or the file was deleted. That file wasn't changed at cracking, just "activation.exe" and "wvs.exe".

      You can download it from http://www.dll-files.com/pcre.zip?0WGmPIVMlQ or another DLL database.

      It's hard to me to find the mistake if I don't have the same error as you.

      Try reinstalling the program and/or the dll file sustitution. Hope you'll able to solve it with that.

    Thanks for the patch clean and work for latest version.
    If you have 64bits windows copy wvs.exe and Activation.exe files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Acunetix\Web Vulnerability Scanner 8\ to C:\Program Files\Acunetix\Web Vulnerability Scanner 8\ (make new directories if needed) then run the patch you shouldnt get anymore File not loaded error.Recopy the patched files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Acunetix\Web Vulnerability Scanner 8\ and overwrite existing files.
