|| ROOT CANVAS 2 RUNNING JB AND IMPROVE CAMERA QUALITY ||

There can only be two reasons why you would want to root after you have updated your phone.
1. You hadn’t previously rooted your phone, but now want to root it to solve the problem with the second sim after you have updated.

2. Note: You are required to flash modem.img from Stock rom v2 to keep second sim functional for which you need root.
You were having a rooted device when you were on ICS, and you can’t resist the perks of rooting now.

Before you proceed:

• Rooting will void your warranty. Btw, you have already voided your warranty by flashing the 3rd party Jelly Bean Update.

Guide to Root Micromax A110 after updating to Jelly Bean:

1. Download CWM Recovery for Micromax A110 from here. Rename this to recovery.img

2. Download Flash_Tools.rar and extract it in your pc.

3. Open Flash Tools and run Flash_tool.exe.

4. Click Scatter-loading. The scatter file to be selected is present inside the folder you extracted in step 2 and is named MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt

5. Uncheck all other options except recovery. Click on Recovery and select the recovery.img (i.e. the cwm recovery).

6. Power off your phone and connect it to your pc.

7. Remove your phone from your pc. Switch it off and also remove the battery from the phone.

8. Click Download button in Flash tool.

9. Connect your phone to the pc now.

10. A green ring will appear showing you the process. If it doesn’t then first install drivers for your phone.

11. You have successfully flashed clockworkmod to your device.

12. Download Superuser binaries from here. Transfer it to your sdcard.

13. Power off your phone.

14. Press Power + Vol. Up + Vol. Down buttons to boot your device on.

15. Press Volume Up button to continue to Clockworkmod Recovery. Select Install zip from sdcard and flash the binaries.

16. Reboot your phone.

17. Show off some dance moves or just yell like a mad person because you have rooted your phone, again!

Once you have flashed clockworkmod recovery, you can also improve the camera quality that is being impacted by the Jelly Bean update using this guide.

Improve Micromax A110's Camera quality on Jelly Bean:

1. Download Android 4.2 Camera zip file.

2. Transfer the file to your phone's SD card. (If you had downloaded it in your pc, otherwise it would already be in your SD card :P)

3. Switch off your phone.

4. Press Power+ Volume Up+ Volume Down simultaneously till your screen turns on.

5. Press Volume Up to go to clockworkmod recovery.

6. Scroll to the "Install zip from sdcard" option by pressing volume down repeatedly and using power button to select.

7. Browse to the location where you copied the zip file in your sdcard.

8. Pave your way through the herd of 'No's to select the only "yes' option and wait for the flashing operation to complete.

9. Reboot your phone. Open the Android 4.2 camera app from your app drawer and check the quality of the photos you click using that app.
