What is a Java drive ?

 A Java Drive-By is a Java Applet that is coded in Java and is put on a website. Once you click "Run" on the pop-up, it will download a program off the internet.     I have a problem.When i set the java drive by i get "java is required to display some elements on this page" and "Install plug in" .After i click on install plug in it forwards me to the official java website: "http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp" . My exe file is not visible.I double checked the links , i have done everything right . Can you advise ?
